The team at Great Balls of Yarn constantly scours the marketplace for the latest and greatest in yarns, patterns and ideas. Recently, Mandie Harrington's Summit Shawl design captivated us with its unusual structure, drape and versatility. Right now it's on my needles as I work it up in Madeline Tosh Pashmina. I'm using the color pecan and am just delighted with the results. We placed a ginormous order with the folks from Madeline Tosh and expect to have the Pashmina and Sock delivered in a few weeks.
We think that a Great Balls' favorite, Blue Heron's Rayon Metallic is another fabulous choice for this pattern, adding a glint of sparkle and gracious drape.
